Kingston Corvette Invasion 2018

Kingston Corvette Invasion, a Homerun.

Corvette Invasion - Kingston, Ontario Blog

Another Summer weekend; Another unforgettable Corvette weekend. If you have been following our blog posts this past month, then you would know that we have been out to a few Corvette shows offering installs and hanging out with the local Corvette clubs.

This past weekend, we attended Corvette Invasion in Kingston, Ontario put on by the Eastern Ontario Corvette Club (EOC). Just over 300 Corvettes were in attendance, and made for quite an exciting weekend. While a majority of C6 and C7s made up the collection, you could also find a few C3s-C5s in the mix.

Of course, ACS Composite offers products for the C6 Corvette and C7 Corvette Stingray Grand Sport, Z06, & ZR1. We were in full force working away installing various upgrades to owner’s vehicles. Here are some of the upgrades owner’s had done to their cars:

zero6 rockers

 corvette rocker install

corvette z06 grill install

zr1 splitter install

The Corvette caravan went on a tour of downtown Kingston

kingston square town cruise

Finally, the night was christened with the prescence of “Lucy” the production test car fo the C7 Corvette 2019 ZR1 brought out by GM for all to see. VIN, “EX” for “experimental”, is set to be destroyed once it has made its rounds for fans to see. The newly released Sebring Orange convertible ZR1 featured the low-profile carbon fiber wing, and large front splitter (Non ZTK).

A special thank you to the Eastern Ontario Corvette Car Club, the Kingston local police force for volunteering their time and effort, Ambassador hotel, and of course the Corvette participants that made the event unforgettable. We hope to hear about the second annual Corvette Invasion next year.

While our next show is not a Corvette show, it will be at Camaro Fest! So, for any Camaro owner’s looking to get ACS Composite products by us, then be sure to give us a shout or show up in the person. For more info on Camaro Fest head to their website.

Special thanks to our customer and friend Paul J. For the well documented photo story book.
