We will be showing you how to install a ACS 5VM Front Splitter; however, this guide can be used for any front splitter. All good front splitters will install in this manner using the existing screws on the C8. You will not be to drill or modify the car in any way to install a front splitter.

Step 1: Preparation and Initial Steps

You'll only need one tool for this job and that's a T15 Torx bit. Depending on your tool setup, you can do this on the ground. However, getting the front nose of your C8 up can help make your life easier. Some times we will simply put the front tires up on a couple of 2x4s.

Step 2: Removing Existing Components

Depending on your setup, you may already have a splitter on your C8. For example, if you are upgrading from the C8 Z51 Front Splitter. You will need to remove the 21 T15 screws holding that in place.

If your C8 Stingray does not have a splitter, then you will simply need to locate the 21 T15 screws underneath the front bumper. Remove those screws and retain them.

Tip: It's a good opportunity the clean up the underside with the your favorite detailing product.
