We lost count how many times we attended Corvettes at Carlisle, but that is just proof of how amazing an event it is. Every day is a highlight day at the event. There are super rare C1s and C2s all the way to the new ZR1s. Even if you are not a Corvette owner, it is a great event for the family and kids. It helps if you like Corvettes.
Last Year's Corvettes at Carlisle 2017
ACS Composite attended last year's event, and it was one of the most exciting Corvette shows of the year. There were thousands of participants and spectators. Crazy loud burnout shows, hundreds of vendors and installs going on. One of the highlights for ACS Composite was teaming up with InShane Designs to uniquely wrapped C7 Stingray with an ACS Composite Z06 widebody and full aeropack. Finally, Inshane Designs gave away the C7 Stingray to an army veteran--An amazing gesture that we are proud to be a part of. Check out some of the photos we took from last year. We hope that your Corvette will be there this month!
The wrapped C7 Stingray prior to ACS Composite aerokit. We had fun building this one with InShane Designs. We built the widebody all weekend long. People stopped in to check out the progress, and see the car come to life. A great experience for everyone involved. InShane and ACS might have something in store this year as well!
A custom ACS Composite Five1 Front Grill painted in Crystal Red.
The customer approached us before Carlisle and asked if we could custom paint a grill for him--and, we did! The crystal red, "hockey sticks" in the grill are a great touch, and really makes the grille, "pop".
A Stage one splitter on a Black Rose C7 Grand Sport Customer wanted to add ground effects to their C7 Grand Sport, but did not want something to aggressive, and within their budget. The Stage One front splitter is an excellent choice, and is the best dollar-per-value buy when it comes to front splitters.
Front Black Sidemarker Replacement Kit Installed on a Corvette Racing Yellow C7 Stingray The blackout side markers were the popular mod of the weekend. Changing out the red and amber lights for this stealth mod is absolutely essential. We always recommend this mod, and expect them to be a big year this year.
C6 Corvette Grand Sport and Z06 body kit including our Zero6 Side Skirts and ZR1 Front Splitter. This was our favorite C6 of the weekend. Beautiful color, wheels, and now ACS Composite aero pack. All C6s should have a body kit on them. Convince us otherwise.
GM Chevrolet brought the Carbon 65 C7 Z06 special edition at Corvettes at Carlisle last year. We wonder what they might treat us with this year! You can imagine it might have something to do with the ZR1. But, we all know what we really want to see *cough* C8 Mid Engine *cough*
I think we gave you enough reason to visit Corvettes at Carlisle 2018. We hope to see you in Pennsylvania in a couple weeks, and safe travels if you are driving down as we are. Be sure to check back on our social media during the event as we will posting pictures and short clips of our installs. You might even get to see some of the event action. You can see the action on our Instagram or Facebook page, and we will release a blog after the even just in case you missed any of it!
