HTR-850R 2011 Camaro wins Mother’s (R) Choice Award at Sema 2010
Montreal,Qc. – The 2011 Camaro HTR-850R built by Redline Motorsports, owned by Howard Tanner won a Mothers (R) Choice Award for excellence in automotive design at the 2010 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. The HTR-850R was released at this years Sema show in partnership with Advanced Composite Speciatlies, manufacturer of the SS9 hood and T3 fascia found on this special build.
The Mothers (R) Choice Award winners are judged by a panel of industry experts during the SEMA Show and presented to a standout vehicle in each of several categories. Judging is based on overall appearance, attention to detail, paint finish, creative vision among a long list of judging elements.
Built in under 7 weeks at Redline Motorsport’s facility in Schenectady, NY. Paint is factory Summit white with stripes in blue PPG pearl. This “supercar” features a 427 Chevy from GMPP with a Kenny Bell supercharger showcased under an ACS Composite SS9 hood with a polycarbonate clear window, ACS T3 front fascia with splitter, ZR1 Corvette dual disc clutch, RPM transmission, 1000-hp axles, PFADT suspension with coilovers and sway bars, Custom Brembo 6-piston brakes and color matched Forza wheels. Purpose of the build was to bridge a gap between the aftermarket and OE limited-edition vehicles. Located at the ACS Composite – Advanced Composite Specialties booth #11857 in the North Hall.
