New ACS Camaro 4Teen Hood Conversion Systems, Pn 33-4-171, 33-4-173 and 33-4-175

Innovation is key to the ethos of ACS and even when existing products are of a high standard we don’t rest until we know that we have done our best to fulfil our commitment to style, synergy, functionality and product design. These elements come together in our new hood conversion system for the 2010-13 Camaro and 2014-15 LS LT hood.

In accordance with customer demand we have come up with two distinct options, each of which improving on the existing method of hood modification. Many have already crafted GM’s 14 SS extractor scoop GM’s Pn 23176238, owners quickly realized it looked great from the outside but not so great once the hood was open. On a first rainy day they also realized the risk involved of getting water all over critical engine electronics….  At ACS we stepped in and raised the install to a whole new level, in addition to making the hood modular with the option of two hood style inserts.

2014-15 Camaro SS Hood inserts on a 2010-13 Camaro Hood or 2014-15 LS LT V6 Camaro Hood

• 1 – Genuine Gm SS Hood Extractor insert painted Satin Black, Gm pn 23176238
• 1 –  ACS 4Teen Water Tray
• 1 – Outer Hood Trimming Template

Option 2, ACS TLE Hood Conversion Kit, Pn 33-4-173

ACS TLE 46-4-011 Hood insert on a 2010-13 Camaro Hood or 2014-15 LS LT V6 Camaro Hood

• 1 – ACS Tl1 Hood Insert Pn 46-4-011
• 1 – ACS 4Teen Water Tray
• 1 – Outer Hood Trimming Template
• 1 – Hood liner Trimming Template
• 6 – M6 Nut with Mounted Washer

Can be modified to to clear top mount superchargers, and still retain water management.

Option 3, ACS 4Teen Water Tray Only for GM’s 14’SS Extractor 23176238, Pn 33-4-171

You have already installed a 2014-15 SS Insert, pn 23176238 on your 2010-13 Camaro and not happy with the homemade mounting system, you want to add a water management system the extractor to protect crucial electronic components located on top of your engine ? Retrofitting the install with a ACS 4Teen water tray is the right upgrade for you.

• Created kits with templates and a proper inner panel
• Detailed instruction pack to remove the required bracing in order to achieve an appropriate flange for our inner panel
• Added a water management system to direct water towards the front over the radiator while still extracting heat and high speed pressure build up at high speed.
